Quality Pork Processors is not running hog operations on second shift today due to a shortage of hogs. However, the Hormel Foods Corp. Austin Plant will remain open for all shifts today and tomorrow.

“We realize that due to the inclement weather, some employees may choose not to come in. For those employees who do choose to come in, we will have work available for them,” said Judy Callahan Human Resources Manager, Austin Plant.
