Ramon I. Green, 82, of Owatonna, Minnesota, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault, Minnesota.

The funeral is set for Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Brick – Meger Funeral Home (1603 – Austin Road, Owatonna). Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service on Sunday.

Ramon was born in Stewartville, Minnesota, on March 10, 1933, the son of Ira and Dorothy (Perbin) Green. Ramon attended country school in Stewartville Township. He worked on the family farm in his earlier years. Ramon worked most of his life as a roofing contractor, most recently he worked for McNeilus Steel Trucking in Dodge Center and he retired mid 80’s. His life interests included riding his motorcycle, buying and selling antiques, and day trips to the casino.

Ramon is survived by his daughters: Misty (Ignacio) Lopez of Lakeville, Minnesota, Wendy Will of Owatonna; grandchildren: Nathan, Ashley, Olivia, Destinie; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers: George (Mary) Green of Tennessee, Jerry (Gloria) Green of Pine Island, Janet Braswell of North Carolina.

Ramon is preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2010; grandson JR Stoen in 2012; two sisters and one brother.
