Five young people were cited after a loud party Thursday night.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Eighth Avenue Northwest after a loud party was reported.

Two men, ages 18 and 19, were cited for underage consumption citation, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger. The three women, all 18, were also cited for underage drinking, were warned about violating the noise ordinance, and they were cited for violating the social host ordinance, which means providing alcohol to someone underage.

All five were cited at the scene and released.
