The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat Kenyon-Wanamingo (2-13 overall) 55-49 on the road Thursday.

Anthony Nelson had 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals for BP (6-10 overall).

“It was a very physical and emotional game,” BP head coach Nathan Piller said. “Scores didn’t come as easy as we would have liked, but the boys really battled hard.”
