Austin gymnasts put up season’s best score

The Austin gymnastics team finished with its best score of the season as it won its home triangular in the YMCA Thursday.

The Packers had score of 140.825, Century had a 139.075 and Rochester Mayo had a 102.4.

Maddie Mullenbach won the beam and floor for the Packers.

“Another good win by the team tonight, and we achieved our goal of breaking 140,” Austin head coach Nikki Lindberg said. “We had our best outing of the season on beam with only one fall.”
