The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat Alden-Conger (0-5 overall) 71-57 on the road Saturday.

Anthony Nelson scored 27 points and he added six assists, four rebounds and six steals for BP (4-4 overall).

“I thought our boys did a nice job staying composed and regained focus,” BP head coach NathanPiller said. “Our effort in the second half was better and it showed in the way we rebounded. Some of the guys really showed a desire to compete and used that as their motivation in the second half.”
