After beating No. 6 ranked Maranatha Christian Academy Saturday and having a looming matchup against No. 2 Mountain Iron-Buhl next week, the No. 3 ranked Athletics (7-0 overall, 6-0 SEC) led just 29-22 at the half against the Cougars.

“The first half was sluggish,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “There was a little bit of a hangover effect and it was kind of a letdown.”
