Mark Manyuon is a senior basketball player for the Packers.
Q: How did you originally get into your sport?
A: I played a lot of sports as a kid, but 5th grade is when I really started to like basketball.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: My favorite sports memory is when Both Gach threw the lob off the backboard to Gach Gach for the dunk last year at Mayo.
Q: What have you learned from playing sports?
A: What I’ve learned from basketball is that bad things will happen but you have to move on to the next play or step in life if you will.
Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?
A: I think the hardest thing about basketball is staying focused throughout the long season and keeping your body in good shape.
Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?
A: My biggest sports role model has to be Michael Jordan because of his attitude and work ethic.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: My favorite TV show is Impractical Jokers.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Sociology with Ms. Morgan.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Movie actor.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Soft-shell tacos.
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: After high school I plan on going to college and studying criminal justice, psychology, or marketing.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?
A: I’m a fan of the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit.
Q: What are your top three pump songs before a big game?
A: I like to relax before a game so “Legend” by Drake, “Don’t” by Bryson Tiller, “St. Tropez” by J.Cole.
Q: What are your top three guilty pleasure songs?
A: “I’ll Show You” by Justin Bieber, “Towards the Sun” by Rihanna, “Mine” by Beyonce ft Drake.
