The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team made an early adjustment that paid off as it beat LeRoy-Ostrander 59-45 in Pacelli Thursday.

The Cardinals (1-3 overall, 1-2 SEC) took an 11-3 lead to start the game as they ran a box and one on LP’s Noah Jiskra.

“We had to figure out how to attack it, but we outscored them after that,” LP head coach Scott Koenigs said.

Braden Kocer had 19 points for LP (4-2 overall, 4-1 SEC) and Lee Bauer had nine points and 12 rebounds.
