MONTICELLO — Volunteers continued the search Saturday for Tyler Berg, a 24-year-old Austin native and St. Cloud man who has been missing since Nov. 22.

Berg was last seen in St. Cloud; his black Mercury Cougar was found Monday near Otter Creek Park in Monticello. Articles of clothing believed to belong to Berg were found there and at the Monticello Country Club golf course.

Berg is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

The Wright County Sheriff’s office issued the call Thursday for volunteers to gather at the Monticello Community Center on Friday morning. Dozens responded but Berg was not found by nightfall.

By midafternoon, the call had gone out on a Facebook page dedicated to finding Berg for more volunteers to continue the search Saturday. Searchers were gathering again Saturday at the Monticello Community Center at 9:30 a.m. The Wright County Sheriff’s Office recommended volunteers wear warm clothing, waterproof boots and, if available, a reflective vest or jacket.
