COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, — Authorities say a suspect has been killed in a shooting involving officers from Columbia Heights and Fridley.

Columbia Heights Police Chief Scott Nadeau says one officer from each department was involved in the shooting of a domestic violence suspect early Tuesday.

Nadeau says the suspect was armed. The Star Tribune reports both officers are on administrative leave.

Police released no additional information.
