GM jumps to semifinals; Superlarks’ 34th straight win has boys a step closer

NEW PRAGUE — The Grand Meadow football team had no problem getting past Cleveland in the Nine Man state quarterfinals in New Prague Saturday.

The Superlarks (12-0 overall) scored touchdowns on their first six possessions of the game and they rolled to the semifinals with a 52-14 win.

GM was led by senior quarterback Michael Stejskal, who had 87 yards rushing and four TDs on the day, and junior running back Christophor Bain ran for 102 yards and three touchdowns.

GM has now won 34 straight games as a program and it will take on Waubun in the Nine Man state semifinals in St. Cloud 5 p.m. Saturday.
