Paul O’Connor is a forward on the Austin Bruins.
Q: How did you originally get into your sport?
A: My dad wanted me to play hockey, and I wanted to play so it all worked out.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Playing outside on the pond while it was snowing.
Q: What have you learned from playing sports?
A: I’ve learned a lot. Mostly how to take care of yourself and work your hardest for your dreams.
Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?
A: Staying focused and consistent all season.
Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?
A: My father. He pushed me really hard to work my hardest and be committed to hockey every day.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: Movie – The Other Guys TV Show- Supernatural .
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Psychology.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: NHL pro defenseman – but if that doesn’t work out, become a fire fighter.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Chicken parmesan.
Q: What are your future plans?
A: Pursue my dreams to become a fire fighter.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?
A: I enjoy fishing, a lot.

A: Any Eminem song, ‘Carry on my Wayward son’ by Kansas, ‘Famous’ by Puddle of Mudd and ‘Rooster’ by Alice in Chains.
Q: What are your top three guilty pleasure songs?
A: ‘Soak up the sun’ by Sheryl Crow, ‘Down the Road’ by CZC and ‘Let it Go’ by Idina Menzel.
