Members of Austin High School’s National Honor Society and Youth Leadership went out trick or treating last year in costume to pick up donations for the food shelf. Members will be trick or treating for food items for the Salvation Army food shelf and backpack program this year as well, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Halloween. NHS organizers thank the community for its generosity in helping stock the local food shelf.
