Austin residents and educators are coming together Saturday to learn and remember the life of a former Riverland Community College professor.

The first Terry Dilley Symposium will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on the second floor of the Austin ArtWorks Center, 300 N. Main St.

Dr. Mark Borello, associate professor in the College of Biological Sciences and History of Science & Technology, will give a presentation on “Unselfish Genes: Altruism and Evolution.”

A lunch and discussion will follow the presentation.

Dilley passed away in 2014 after many years at the college.
