Krohnberg tallies 24 kills as Blossoms beat NRHEG in five games

A lot of things came together for the Blooming Prairie volleyball team as it outlasted New Richland-HEG (6-5 overall, 1-2 Gopher) by scores of 25-14, 23-25, 20-25, 25-17, 15-13 in BP Friday.
Senior hitter Alyssa Krohnberg had a career best 24 kills in the win for BP (6-11 overall, 2-3 Gopher).
“She just really was in a rhythm from the get go,” BP head coach Ranell Kittelson said of Krohnberg. “She stayed focused and she’s always so positive. She gets up so high over the ball and she’s able to hit over the block.”
BP was busy in the back row during the win as Leah Inwards had 34 digs, Bria Baldwin had 23 digs and Abby Wayne had 20 digs.
“We were very active tonight. We had lots of great movement and communication,” KIttelson said. “They fought really hard tonight and they gave it all. Overall, everyone’s improving.”
