FARIBAULT — The Minnesota Department of Corrections says an inmate died at the state prison in Faribault.

The death is currently under investigation.

That the department is not releasing any other information until the person’s family has been contacted.

The Faribault prison is the largest in Minnesota. It’s a minimum-to-medium security facility and holds about 2,000 inmates.
