George E. Lee, 82, died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, on Sept. 3, 2015, due to complications of lymphoma.

George was born in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, on Aug. 23, 1933, to Martin and Louena (Lestrud) Lee.
George is survived by his loving companion of 39 years Vera Hill; brother Robert (Cathy) Lee, Austin; sister Yvonne (Mike) Shahan Gilbert, Arizona; daughter Michelle (John) Smith of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; and many loving nieces and nephews.
George is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Louena; nephews Robert Donavan and Glen Joseph.
Per George’s wishes there will be a celebration of life on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the home of Robert Lee 212 Clinton Street, Austin.
