One driver was injured in a two-car crash on Interstate 90 west of Austin around 11:53 a.m. Saturday.

Susan Eisenman, 62, of Chatfield was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin Saturday after her 2003 Chevy Silverado collided with a 2015 Honda Civic Driven by Eunice Paaverud, 78, of Austin on westbound I-90 in Freeborn County, according the Minnesota State Patrol.

Eisenman’s injuries were believed to be non-life threatening, and Paaverud was not injured in the crash.

Eisenman’s Silverado was totaled, while Paaverud’s Honda sustained severe damage, according to the report.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Gold Cross Ambulance and Hayward Fire assisted on the scene.
