The Austin girls soccer team couldn’t get things going in the second half as they lost 5-0 at Mankato West (4-0 overall, 1-0 Big Nine) Thursday.

The Packers (1-2 overall, 0-1 Big Nine) trailed 1-0 at halftime, but they were outscored 4-0 in the second frame.

Chloe Summerfield made 13 saves for the Packers, who had two shots on goal.

“We didn’t play well at all,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “They were a lot better than us. They had good control of the ball and good passing.”
