MnDOT to close I-90 lane next week

Residents traveling Interstate 90 next week should be aware of a temporary lane closure near Dexter.

A half-mile of the left lane of eastbound Interstate 90 near Dexter will be closed beginning Aug. 10 for road repairs, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Traffic will be restricted to single lane while MnDOT workers perform the maintenance work to repair concrete panels.

The eastbound left lane, west of Dexter in Mower County, is expected to be closed for three days, weather permitting.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
