Michael Stejskal is a senior quarterback on the Grand Meadow football team. Stejskal was a wide receiver on a state championship team as a sophomore and he was the quarterback of the state champion Superlarks his junior year.

Q: How did you originally get into your sport?

A: It has always been a family thing. My dad brought me up as a little kid to love football.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: Winning a state championship and coming back to town with everyone celebrating.

Q: What have you learned from playing sports?

A: Set your goals high and work to achieve them.

Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?

A: The preparation and work that needs to go in to be successful.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: Probably my dad. He was on a Grand Meadow team that went to the state championship too. He has taught me a lot and made me fall in love with football.

A: Arrow the TV Series.

A: Math or Science.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: Computer Engineer.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Pizza.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: Go to college at the University of Minnesota and study to achieve a bachelor degree in either computer sciences or computer engineering.

Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?

A: I used to play video games competitively and I won money from it.
