The American Legion Riders 2015 Legacy Run will stop in Austin this Saturday on the first leg of its tour.

Plenty of riders will through Austin at noon Saturday at the Austin American Legion. They will depart at 1:30 p.m.

The Legion ride consists of Legion members raising money for the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund, which goes toward students whose mother or father died in service while on active duty since Sept. 11, 2001.

Last year, the Minnesota American Legion Riders collected more than $87,000. The group hopes to break $100,000 this year.
