What a wonderful evening we had at our Pizza and Preplanning event as we began our six-month series: “Our Family Matters.”

Our Family Matters series continues at 5 p.m. Monday.

Please join us at the Mower County Senior Center for our workshop on Advance Directives and we will assist you filling out your planning guide. A Free Thoughtful Decisions Planning Guide will be available for anyone who has not received one yet. A light supper will be served as we start the program.

In addition, Mary Bollum from Mayo Clinic Health Systems, will present what we need to know about Advance Directives. There will be time for question and answer, and we will conclude with a door prize drawing. Please call the senior center at 507-433-2370 or Mayer Funeral Home at 507-433-1817 so we have ample preparations for food and materials.

Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents. Tuesday we are having upside down pizza casserole for only $2.
