Contrary to popular rumor, Neveln Elementary School children did not actually find drugs on the playground last Friday.

Police Capt. Dave McKichan said Neveln students found a glass vial on the playground, believed to be years old, and reported it as drugs. Officers who responded to the report took the vial.
