Hilda Voge, 90

Hilda Voge, 90, of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday evening, June 27, 2015, at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.
Hilda Hendrickson was born Nov. 18, 1924, in Colon, Nebraska, the daughter of Henry and Anna Marie (Akerson) Hendrickson. Hilda was married to Lowell Paulson and the couple had six children. Lowell died in 1980. She was a housekeeper for District One Hospital in Faribault, Minnesota, for many years. After her retirement, Hilda married Clarence Roger Voge and he died in 1999. She enjoyed her years living in Arizona, returning to Minnesota in 2011. Hilda liked country music, going for walks, traveling and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a former member of Crane Community Chapel in Austin.
Survivors include her children: Sandy (Gene) Waterbury, Carol (Ed) Tuchek, Sharon Johnson and Cheryl (Gene) Slowinski all of Austin, Kim (Steve) Loe of Tucson, Arizona, Kenneth Paulson of Faribault, Joyce (Richard) Derr of Novato, California and Dean (Elaine) Voge of China; nine grandchildren: Todd Waterbury, Jeff Guckeen, Melissa Swenson, Mark Tuchek, Stephen Paulson, Tammy Murphy, Cassie Paulson, Jamie Johnson and Daniel Loe; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; brother, Arthur Hendrickson; a sister, Caroline Dunham; and a grandson, Adam Martin.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Bixby, Minnesota. Family requests memorials to the Alzheimer Association.
The family greatly appreciated all the care and kindness Hilda received from Dr. Angstman and the staff of Comforcare Good Samaritan Center. “Rest in eternal peace Mom, you will forever live in our hearts.” Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
