Bruins load up in NAHL draft

The Austin Bruins made Vince Marinaro their first pick of the NAHL draft on draft Tuesday.
Marinaro is a forward from Des Moines in the USHL and he had two points in 25 games for the Bucs. He also had six points in 22 games for the Coulee Region Chill.
In the second round, the Bruins grabbed Mason Anderson, a defenseman from the Waterloo Blackhawks and in the third round Austin took Ian Beck, a defenseman from the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals U18.
Austin’s other draft picks include: Alexander Drobot, forward from NJ Rockets; Frankie Sullivan, defenseman from Springfield Pics; Kyle Madore, goalie from Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U18; Logan Haskins, forward from Rochester Mayo; Nick Wilson, defenseman from Michigan Nationals U18; Nigel Nelson, forward from CYA U16; Ezra Hall, forward from Winnepeg Blues of MJHL; Jacob Paganelli, forward from Shattuck-St. Mary’s Prep; John Pesek, defesneman from Soo Indians U18.
