The ninth grade Austin boys basketball team defended it’s State title this year at the Pacesetter Minnesota State Tournament in St. Cloud Sunday. Austin defeated Wesbrook-Walnut-Grove 43-23, it beat Fergus Falls 47-44 and then it defeated Esko 53-31 in the finals. Austin advances to the Pacesetter great eight state championships July 31 at the Target Center. Teams from North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota will compete.
