James and Julaine (Strom) Ruud are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was wed on June 20, 1965, in Watertown, South Dakota at Grace Lutheran Church. They have three children: James Jr. Ruud, Jessica Crews and Jennifer Ruud. They also have three grandchildren: Alexis and Jet Crews and Trenton Ruud.
