Timothy Gregory Heimer, 44, of the Austin area, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at his sister’s residence in Park Rapids, Minnesota.



He was born June 21, 1970, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Donald and Mae (Cohenour) Heimer. After his graduation from Hayfield High School in 1990, Timothy attended college at Riverland Technical School in Austin, Minnesota, where he received his boiler license. He worked at Quality Pork Processors, Inc. and Celestica. Timothy was a sports fanatic and loved to watch them on TV. He loved to fish and enjoyed playing video games, golf, Frisbee golf, swimming and playing chess. Tim had a special joy and passion for cooking.

Timothy is survived by his parents Donald and Mae Heimer; his sister Pamela (Steve) Benjamin of Park Rapids, Minnesota; his four children; one niece Caitlin; two nephews: Matt and Matthew; his uncles, aunts; cousins and a special aunt Paula.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; and his aunt Mona.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Chaplain Dale Leehy officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
