BURLINGTON, Vt. — Scientists specializing in the Great Lakes are going to be hearing about the challenge plastic pollution poses for the lakes during a conference at the University of Vermont.

The Thursday sessions on plastics pollution is one of many being held this week in Burlington at the 58th Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.
