Phyllis L. Williams, 90, died on May 4, 2015, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

She was born on March 20, 1925, in Artesian, South Dakota, to Harvey and Gertrude (Scott) Threadgold. She married James Robert Williams, her life-long partner of 71 years. They moved to Austin, Minnesota, in 1948. The first 15 years she lived in Sedona, Arizona, thereafter moving to Sun City West.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Williams on Dec. 14, 2014; her parents; her oldest son, Richard K. Williams.

Survivors include sons: Michael H. Williams, (Jane) of Austin, Minnesota, Mark (Cheri) Williams of Tonganoxie, Kansas; and daughter, Robin Gearhart (Bob) of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter-in-law Bonnie Williams of Sun City West, Arizona; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is pending at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, Arizona 85375.
