A 72-year-old Chatfield woman is bringing her unique solar-power tricycle to Austin on Sunday.

Hanna Elshoff will be at Lions Park, at Eighth Street and Oakland Place NE, at 2 p.m. Sunday to promote the Leader Dog, a project to buy guide dogs for the blind.

The public is invited to check out Elshoff’s tricycle, and she’ll share stories about her journey from being born in Germany and moving to the United States.

Elshoff is a Lions member of several years.

Donations will be accepted for the Lead Dog program.
