Linda L. Dahmen, 64, of Austin, Minnesota, died Friday, May 8, 2015, surrounded by her family at her residence in Austin.

She was born Sept. 5, 1950, to Donald and Mary (Buchanan) Kolb in Austin, Minnesota. Linda spent most of her life in Austin; she attended schools in Austin and worked as a CNA at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home. She loved to visit and go out to lunch with friends and family. AA was an important part of her life and she celebrated nine years of sobriety. After Linda suffered a lengthy illness, she moved into Pickett Place to be closer to her daughters.

Survivors include her four children: Tammy Dahmen of Austin, April Dahmen of Austin, Earl Dahmen of Mapleview, and Larry Jr. ‘Lash’ (Jamie) Dahmen of Colorado Springs; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Adam, Zach, Travis, Dominique, Elijah, Kylie and Korbin; five sisters: Mary, Ann, Margaret, Diane, Judy; and her special friends: Barbara Ann, Betty Ann and Alan. She was loved by all of her nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved sister Bonnie.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Salvation Army Chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Interment will be private. Memorials are preferred to the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
