According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on May 23, 2009, Seha and her family were driving to Rochester after a family get-together when their mini-van was hit by a drunk driver in a pickup truck. He was diving east on Minnesota Highway 30, fell asleep and failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 63 and Highway 30, hitting the mini-van on the driver’s side. Three of the five victims died instantly, and another passed away later at a hospital. Seha was the only survivor.

Seha will share her story of loss, how she has dealt with the grief and how she came to forgive. Christopher Frisch, the driver of the truck, will also join Seha to speak. This is the first time Frisch has spoken publicly about the accident.
