The Austin girls golf team took 12th place out of 12 teams at the Big Nine meet in Rochester Monday.

The Packers, who finished with a team score of 448, were playing with out their No. 1 golfer Kristina Thorson.

Red Wing won the meet with a score of 326.

“Considering the conditions today, we still shot pretty well,” Austin head coach Ryan Wiechmann said. “Unfortunately it just wasn’t good enough to earn us some more points.”

Mara Overby led the Packers with a score of 106.
