Austin boys tennis team edges out Winona

The Austin boys tennis team closed out its regular season home schedule with a 4-3 win over Winona in Paulson tennis courts Monday.
The No. 3 doubles team of Sawyer Myers and Josh Brehmer fought back to win the last two sets 7-6 for the Packers (7-8 overall, 5-6 Big Nine) after they dropped the first set 7-6.
“It was our seniors last regular season home match,” Austin head coach Jeff Anderson said. “This group of seniors have given a lot to Austin Tennis and I was glad that we could get a team win to celebrate what they have done.”
