The Austin boys tennis team lost 5-2 to Rochester John Marshall at Paulson tennis courts Wednesday.

The No. 2 doubles team of Noah Brehmer and Levi Vierkandt and the No. 3 doubles team of Justin Bergemann and Josh Brehmer won their matches for the Packers (6-7 overall, 4-5 Big Nine).

“We played some great matches,” Austin head coach Jeff Anderson said. “The number two and three doubles showed some grit in coming back from sets down to win their matches. We lost two tough matches at number two and four singles. A few points here and it could have been a different outcome.”
