Kodi Knight, 47, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away suddenly at the Putman County Memorial Hospital on April 10, 2015.

Kodi Knight was born on Sept. 10, 1967, in San Diego, California, that daughter of Robert and Wanda Dale. Kodi’s family traveled a lot when she was young due to her father’s service in the Marine Corps. Kodi was fortunate enough to spend time overseas in Japan during their travels. At age 10, Kodi’s family settled in Lemons, Missouri, and she later graduated from Unionville High School in 1986. During her life she was successful in sales for the hotel industry, mostly in California. On Dec. 10, 2011, she married Morgan Knight in Unionville, Missouri. Kodi got along well with everyone she knew. She enjoyed peaceful activities like ceramics, gardening and simple things she could tinker with.

Kodi Knight is survived by her husband, Morgan; and two daughters: Megan Hirsch, and Carol Rouse; three grandchildren: James, Serenity, and Quinn; one brother, Robert Dale III and wife Heidi, of Des Moines, Iowa, and their five children.

Kodi was preceded in death by her parents Robert Dale Jr. and Wanda Dale.
