Helen F. Roeske 94, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died March 26, 2015, at the Eastmont Towers Care Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Helen Faye Roeske was born April 8, 1920, on a farm near New York Mills, Minnesota, the daughter of Jessie Mae (Hillier) and Elmer W. Roeske. Her mother died when Helen was five days old. She was raised by her birth mother’s brother and wife, the Rev. Benjamin and Ollie Hillier. She moved to Nebraska when she was 10 days old.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Oakwood Cemetery, Austin; with the Rev. Michael Olmsted officiating. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
