The Austin boys golf team took second place at the Hayfield Invite Tuesday.

The Packers finished with a score of 354 and Hayfield won the seven-team meet with a 353.

Austin’s James Snee was meet medalist with a score of 77.

“We saw some good things. We saw some bad things,” Austin head coach Matt Raso said. “A second place finish always looks good, but I’m pressing the ball a little bit higher on these guys. We definitely could’ve played better.”
