The Freeborn County Arts Initiative in Albert Lea is looking to showcase the artwork of immigrants in their new gallery in May and June.

The Initiative is interested in the work of under-represented populations in Minnesota.

It’s looking to feature work in all media, from Asian, African, South American, Middle Eastern and other groups that must work very hard to assimilate and are often not embraced or understood by the established ethnic groups.
