Antonio Montoya-Cutino, 70, of Austin, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015, at his home.

Antonio was born in Bayamo, Cuba, on June 14, 1944, to Antonio Montoya-Reyes and Luz Maria Olivia Cutino. He grew up in Cuba and served in the military. He came to the United States in 1980. He held a variety of jobs throughout his lifetime.
On Oct. 11, 2014, he married Katherine Peterson in Austin. They continued to make Austin their home until his passing.
Antonio enjoyed cooking and sitting outside.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Katherine Montoya of Austin; sons: Tony Montoya of Austin and Alexander Montoya of Cuba; a step-daughter, Ann Marie Peterson, of Austin; granddaughter Alexandra Montoya of Austin; brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Kathy Enright.
Antonio is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at Mayer Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. Online Condolences-www.mayerfh.com.
