GRANITE FALLS — Police say a woman has died of injuries suffered in a domestic assault in Granite Falls.

Authorities say the 65-year-old woman had severe head injuries and was found on the floor of a residence Sunday. She was rushed to the hospital in Granite Falls and was later taken by air to Hennepin County Medical Center where she died.

KARE-TV says a 53-year-old man has been arrested.
