The Arc looking for auction items for annual event

Published 2:49 pm Saturday, March 7, 2015

The Arc Mower County’s mission is to promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

To help achieve this goal, The Arc Mower County will hold its annual fundraiser, the Taste of Mower County, on Sunday, April 19, at the Holiday Inn in Austin.

You will enjoy unlimited tastings of signature items from Mower County’s finest chefs. Be a part of this unique event by making a gift to our silent and/or live auctions. Contributors will be highlighted at the event and in the event program.

Where promise lives, hope blossoms. All proceeds benefit children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy. One in 10 families has a member with a disability. Your participation in Arc’s Rose Sale provides critical funding for programs and services.

Help, give

We are excited to announce every donation you make to The Arc Mower County on GiveMN.org from March 1 to 31 will be doubled, up to $100,000.

This is how. During Otto Bremer Foundation’s March Millions for Southeastern Minnesota, the Otto Bremer Foundation will match a dollar for every dollar given to us on GiveMN.org, up to $100,000, until their $1 million matching gift runs out.

That means your impact on The Arc Mower County can be bigger than ever if you plan your donation to us this March. Also, one donation will be randomly selected each day in March to have a $1,000 Bremer Boost added to it. You can increase our chances of getting an additional $1,000 and help us reach our $10,000 goal by making a donation to us.

Go to www.GiveMN.org, search for: Arc Mower County and enter the amount you wish to give and the other requested information.
