Along with the traditional pizza, the restaurant will also feature an expanded menu, which will include the WingStreet line with three types of chicken and side items, along with flavors and sauces.

The local company has hired about 20 to 30 new employees for the full-service dine-in restaurant. It will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

A previous Pizza Hut location on North Main Street in Austin closed in July 2013.

The restaurant is one of two chains making a comeback after closing previous Austin businesses. Hardees, which closed Austin locations in 2004 and 2008, plans to build a new restaurant near Interstate 90 at 1406 of Fourth St. NW.
