Letter: Humane society has successful dinner

The Mower County Humane Society would like to thank all who supported the annual pasta dinner and auction fundraiser on Feb. 22 at the Holiday Inn in Austin.

This year’s event raised $17,000 which will be used for operating expenses in 2015. Special thanks to the more than 50 volunteers of all ages who made this event a success. We would also like to thank all of our local area businesses who supported us with their generous donations to this event—please shop here first and support them for the way they give back to our community!
