As part of this year’s Paint the Town Pink initiative, Hormel Foods Austin Plant manager Tim Fritz presents an $11,900 donation to Dr. Edward Hinchcliffe, a section leader at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota. Fritz and other employees on the Hormel Plant’s Helping Hands committee raised donations in various ways to support the Institute’s breast cancer research. Overall, Hormel Foods employees at the plant, corporate offices and other Austin sites have donated more than $15,500 toward this year’s PTTP initiative.
