MONTEVIDEO — A Montevideo man is accused of leaving his sleeping 2-year-old son in an idling vehicle while he got drunk at a bar.

The Star Tribune reports 27-year-old Christopher Jasperson was charged last week with gross-misdemeanor child endangerment.

According to a criminal complaint, police responded to a report of a child sleeping in a car outside Inn Like Flinn on Feb. 14.
