The Austin Bruins moved into first place in the NAHL Central Division with a 7-1 win over Brookings (16-20-8 overall) in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Brian Bachnak put in a hat trick for Austin (26-10-11 overall) as he scored two second period goals and one third period goal.

The Bruins are now two points ahead of Minot in the Central Division.
